Year	Details
1982	Opened by the Scarborough Public Library Board in Parkway Plaza, southeast corner of Victoria Park and Ellesmere, 1 March.
1987	Renovated and reopened, August. Relocated to larger premises within Parkway Mall.
2007	New hours, 8 January. Hours open per week increased from 47 to 50.5.
2014	The branch was expanded into a neighbouring storefront resulting in an expansion of 577 sq. ft.

Land Acknowledgement

Maryvale is on Indigenous land. This is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee (ho-den-oh-sho-nee) Confederacy (aka. the Six Nations Confederacy), the Wendat, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
