- lectern with touch-screen controls for video projector
- CD and cassette players
- FM system for the hearing impaired

Dressing rooms: (two) 103 sq. ft. with two ten-person rooms with washrooms and showers.

Theatre has separate entrance with an additional entrance located off the library foyer.

A wheelchair accessible washroom is located on the main floor of the theatre.

Main washrooms are located on the lower floor. Elevator is available.

History

1970	Officially opened by the North York Public Library Board, 6 March. Thomas Ibronyi Architect.
1974	Renovated.
1995	Library Theatre rebuilt and enlarged. Zeidler Roberts Partnership Architects.
1997	Included on an inventory of North York's Modernist Architecture, prepared by the City of North York Planning Department, Urban Design Division. Refurbished. Closed 22 September to 17 November. Bookmobile stop provided during closure.
2007	New hours, 8 January. Open hours per week increased from 50 to 59.5.
2010	Community Arts Hub and programming room constructed. G. Bruce Stratton Architects.
2011	Express Checkout installed in October.
2017	Community consultations begin for a renovation and enlargement of York Woods Branch planned by Diamond Schmitt.
2019	Branch Closed for renovation on Saturday, September 21.
2023	Branch reopened on July 17. Diamond Schmitt Architects revitalized the branch’s theatre and interior public spaces, added new main entrance and more natural light as well as made the library fully accessible.

York Woods is on Indigenous land. This is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee (ho-den-oh-sho-nee) Confederacy (aka. the Six Nations Confederacy), the Wendat, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. Toronto Public Library gratefully acknowledges these Indigenous nations for their guardianship of this land. The Six Nations Confederacy), the Anishinaabek (Ah-nish-nah-bek) and allied nations, to peaceably share and care for this land, its waters, and all of the biodiversity in the Great Lakes region.
