The following information can be updated in your account online:

Other updates must be made by library staff at any branch.

Update your email address

The email address in your account is used to send your hold pickup, overdue and due date reminder notices. To update your email address:

  1. Go to the Account Settings section in your account.
  2. Under Email, phone & notifications, select Change notification settings.
  3. Enter your new email address.
  4. Select Save Changes.
  5. Click Back to your account at the top of the page to go back to your account.

Note: You must complete a confirmation process in order to be signed up for email notification.

Update your phone number

The phone number in your account is used to send your hold pickup and overdue notices. Note that due date reminders are not available by phone. To update your phone number:

  1. Go to the Account Settings section in your account.
  2. Under Email, phone & notifications, select Change notification settings.
  3. Enter your new phone number.
  4. Make sure it is a number that we call.
  5. Select Save Changes.
  6. Click Back to your account at the top of the page to go back to your account.

Change your password/PIN

  1. Go to the Account Settings section in your account.
  2. Select Change password/PIN.
  3. Enter your new password/PIN number and confirm it.
  4. Select Save.

Add or change your preferred name (displays on the website and in your email greeting)

  1. Go to the Account Settings section in your account.
  2. Select Name & address. Under Preferred Name select Edit.
  3. Enter your preferred name and select Save Changes.
  4. Click Back to your account at the top of the page to return to your account.

Change your home branch

  1. Go to the Account Settings section in your account.
  2. Select Home branch, then Edit beside the name of your current home branch.
  3. Use the dropdown menu to select a new home branch.
  4. Click on Change home branch. You will get a confirmation message and your new home branch will display.

Update other personal information

If your address changes, please let us know. Staff at your local branch have to update this information for you - it can't be done online or by phone. Please bring valid identification showing your name and new address.
