Flatbed scanners for document and photo scanning are available at the following library branches:

Each location has one scanner, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The scanners are attached to internet-connected computers. You can save your scanned files to a USB drive or upload them to email or another online service.
Use of the scanners is free. Black-and-white printing is available at a cost of $0.15 per page.

Scanners in Learning Centres
Each of the library's newly enhanced Learning Centres has an Epson V600 Photo scanner connected to a reservable computer.
Epson V600 Photo scanners are located at these branches:

- Fairview - slide/negative scanning not currently available
- Maria A. Shchuka
- North York Central Library
- Northern District - slide/negative scanning not currently available
- Richview
- S. Walter Stewart
You can save your scanned files to a USB drive or upload them to email or another online service.
