After fifty years, radio station CFRB is still going strong, and last night thousands of its friends showed up at a birthday party at the Royal York Hotel. Among celebrants were commentator Betty Kennedy, behind the wheel of a 1929 Graham-Paige, with H. T. McCurdy, president of Standard Broadcasting, beside her. In the back seat, Bill Baker, left, who helped build station's first transmitter and worked for station for 48 years, and CFRB president D. H. Hartford.
