Suspect murder link. Police are today guarding this Westmoreland Ave. home of William Whittingham; self-confessed former small-time bootlegger; robbed at the point of a gun by four men. Detectives are checking on a possible link between the gunmen and the murderers of James Windsor.

The funeral director refused to divulge names of pallbearers.Plain-clothesmen circulated through the group of mourners at the home and later at the brief ceremony in Mount Hope cemetery in the hope of picking up clues to the bruital murder. Reguiem high mass was sung at St. Monica's Roman Catholic church. Here are camera-shy mourners at the graveside.
