Property changes hands. Announcement was made to-day by the Bank of Nova Scotia that they have purchased the property of the Canada Life Assurance Company; situated at the north-east corner of King and Bay Sts. for the site of their new building; the date for the erection or which has not been set as yet. The bank will not take possession of the property until the completion of the Canada Life's new building at University Ave. and Queen St.; which is expected to be ready early in 1931. The Above picture shows the present Canada Life building at King and Bay.
