An Indian at Fort George on James Bay uses the windshield of his snowmobile as a travelling billboard. The Indians' hunting grounds in the area are threatened with flooding by the Quebec government's hydro project and Anglican and Roman Catholic clergy are protesting.

Members of the choir at Fort George; Quebec; will lose their priest on July 1 and the Anglican diocese of Moosonee has no replacement because of a shortage of priests. The loss is an additional blow to the 1;500 parishioners whose way of life is already threatened by the James Bay hydro-electric project.

Walking to Shore of Winnipeg river in Minaki; town 40 miles northwest of Kenora; Norma Brant and her son Danny; 3; enjoy spring sun. Mrs. Brant; an Indian; loves Minaki and says it's wonderful place to raise children. Elsewhere; housing for Indians is not so good. The federal government has proposed a five-year; $1.7 billion program to improve it. Bad housing is blamed for high Indian mortality rate and other problems.
