All-Time Record was set at the Canadian National Exhibition which closed Saturday night after attracting 2;612;000 paid admissions during its 14 days. This is an air view of the grounds on closing day which itself set a record of 257;000 paid admissions; an all-time mark for the day. Long lines of cars jam every inch of available parking space and the big audience sits in front of band shell enjoying the concert. Along the waterfront; the spectators' stands are crowded for aquatic events. People are everywhere

First air views as the big 1947 Canadian National Exhibition got under way opening day are shown here. Many familiar landmarks are included in this general view of the expansive grounds; with the only remaining wartime car being the missing grandstand; which was destroyed by fire. It is expected it will be rebuilt for next year's Exhibition
