About the renovation

In 2022, TPL launched the capital project to renovate and expand the Pleasant View branch!

Working with the award-winning firm Lebel and Bouliane Architects, the new building will be a modern, accessible, and adaptable 10,000 sq. ft. library with an inviting interior and attractive street presence.

This renovation is necessary to meet the current and future needs of this rapidly growing community. Expanding the branch to 10,000 square feet will allow us to revitalize all public service areas, address state of good repair deficiencies, meet AODA and Toronto Green Standards, and position Pleasant View as a learning laboratory.

The Library and its staff will:
