Perth/Dupont Branch Renovation

Toronto Public Library will be relocating and expanding the Perth/Dupont branch to a new site at 299 Campbell Ave.
One of the smallest libraries in the Toronto Public Library system since it opened in 1977, the branch will be replaced with a 10,000 square foot facility at the base of a residential rental building.
The new library will be an open and light-filled space laid out on one floor, offering modern library services that are responsive to the needs of the local community now and into the future.
The library will offer collaborative meeting space, interactive children's space, larger collections, programming and more digital services and technology.
The branch will remain open at the existing location during the construction phase. Construction started in 2020, with the construction of the library interior projected to start in late Summer/Fall of 2023 once the library takes possession of the space allocated to the library.
