Parliament Street Branch Relocation and Expansion
Exciting news for Regent Park and Cabbagetown! Toronto Public Library is planning on relocating and expanding the Parliament Street branch into Regent Park as part of Phases 4 and 5 of the Regent Park Redevelopment Project.
About the Relocation
The relocated branch will be expanded to 23,000 square feet and will include expanded services. This project is part of the Library’s 10-year Capital Plan. The specific start date of the project is to be determined in conjunction with the larger redevelopment project being undertaken by TCHC.
Online Information Session
On March 8, 2022, partners from Toronto Community Housing Corporation and Tridel presented an update on the Regent Park Branch development phases four and five, with Ward 13 Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam providing opening and closing remarks. Followed by a community question and answer period.
