About the project

Toronto Public Library is excited to announce that a state of good repair project has launched at Locke Branch. The upcoming renovation will bring much needed accessibility updates to the building, as well as a refresh to shelving, seating, and both the children and teen areas, all while ensuring heritage elements continue to be preserved.

Community consultation

On Tuesday, July 26, 2022 we hosted a drop-in open house where members of the public learned more about the renovation project from the project architects, Building Arts, and the Toronto Public Library team. Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared their thoughts.
