Albert Campbell Branch Renovation

The branch is closed for major renovation and we expect to reopen in Summer 2022.
About the Renovation
At the June, 2019 Toronto Public Library Board meeting, the library board approved the closure of the Albert Campbell branch for approximately 24 months for a major renovation. The branch closed at the end of the day on Saturday, September 28, 2019.
The renovation of the branch will:
- Revitalize all public service areas, including programming space
- Create zoned areas for adults, teens and children
- Incorporate customer service improvements and efficient staff spaces
- Increase space for quiet study and collaborative use
Service During the Closure
During the closure, the library will provide service in a 1,300 square foot space in the Birchmount Plaza, next door at 462 Birchmount Rd. Unit 1A (located between Pizza Hut and MyHealth Centre) has been modified to reflect current public health guidelines. Service will include:
- A place to pick up holds
- A place to return your library materials
- Photocopying and scanning service
- Mobile printing only - print from home or your personal mobile device
Note: Washrooms are not available.
