TD Summer Reading Club

Reading fun for kids, from Canada's public libraries

About the TD Summer Reading Club

The TD Summer Reading Club is free! It offers a variety of fun reading-related activities for children of all ages and keeps them reading all summer long!

Last year, over 30,000 kids across Toronto registered for the Club, and we look forward to welcoming even more in 2019!

How it works

  1. Sign up at any library branch starting June 22.
  2. Get a kit, including a notebook and web access code to keep track of books your child reads.
  3. Read for fun! Have your child read what they enjoy and try some of the top summer reads for kids
  4. Come back to the library so your child can tell us about they're reading, earn stickers and get more great reading recommendations from library staff. While you're there, check out some of the fun programs we offer too!

En français

The TD Summer Reading Club is a bilingual program. Pick up a notebook, attend library programs, read books and participate online, all in French. Make sure to ask staff at your library branch about the French Reading Challenge in which kids can report on French materials they read during the summer for a chance to win a prize.
