Summer Wonder
Programs for Kids 6-12

Summer is a great time to explore and discover new interests as a family with TPL's free Summer Wonder programs and activities.
From June 13 to September 3, kids can participate in arts and STEM based programs in both English and French. Programs and workshops are designed to keep kids ages 6-12 years engaged in reading and learning year round.
Our summer camps and virtual programs allow kids to get creative, build new skills and have fun too! There are so many wonder-full in-person and online experiences to choose from.
Here are all the ways your family can participate in Summer Wonder:
- Kids can sign up for the TD Summer Reading Club and participate in-person or online starting June 13. Ask library staff for Accessible formats.
- Kids can track their reading online to earn badges for reading milestones and completing activities throughout the summer.
- Kids can discover design thinking as they learn about world issues and design and build a prototype solution to a real world problem in our Wonder Workshops.
- Kids can tell us what they’re wondering about by posting a question on our Wonder Wall. They can also read what other kids have wondered about and discover new and interesting facts about the world.
- Kids can also borrow books or grab & go bags filled with pre-selected items to read and enjoy together.
Parlez-vous français? Participate in our French Reading Challenge for kids ages 0-12 years. Tell us what you are reading in French this summer. The challenge starts on June 13. More details will be updated on this date.
