The Career Coaches in Residence program offers career and job search help for younger adults.
Book a free online consultation with a career coach to get one-on-one advice on your career journey. Connect by phone or video.
Coaches can help with general career advice, resume and cover letters, job search, interview preparation, or personal marketing material for your LinkedIn profile, portfolio or website.
Select an available date from the calendar. You will be provided with a consent form to complete your booking. We will review your booking and contact you to confirm your appointment.
You can book an appointment up to two weeks in advance.
Amanda Armstrong is a social impact entrepreneur, career coach, sales coach, and motivational speaker. Amanda has over 12 years of coaching experience and working with youth, women, non-profits, small businesses and impact organizations in North America, the Caribbean and Sub-Saharan Africa. Her life purpose is to create a ripple effect of impact around the world. She teaches women, young people and impact professionals how to build confidence, land dream job offers and dream clients, and achieve successful careers. She also provides scholarships for talented children and youth in Kenya to access education. Amanda has experience working in non-profit, international development, social entrepreneurship, B Corporations, startups, and tech sales. Her values of empathy, honesty, impact, hard work and results are at the core of everything she does.

Kadine Cooper, also known as Coach K, is a highly experienced and skilled Career & Life Transition Coach, Facilitator, and Speaker. Her expertise lies in helping clients navigate the future of work and its impact on both organizational and people strategies. Kadine works with clients to regain clarity on their career & life goals and reclaim their self-worth, empowering them to show up as their authentic selves, so they can pursue their dream job and create the life they want with increased confidence. She helps clients overcome challenges that may be holding them back and provides the tools and resources they need to design their career brand while making a meaningful impact in their field. With her framework, Kadine equips professionals with skills and assertive presence they need to advance in their career while making a positive difference in the world.

Esther Shin is a career development professional with 15 years of experience helping young adults realize their potential and find meaningful opportunities. She is currently working as an Academic & Learning Strategist at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC), where she supports students to achieve their academic and career aspirations and has counselled students to explore their career identities based on their strengths, interests, and values. She has completed a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology and Career and Work Counsellor Diploma and is a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals and previously worked as a social worker.
