Sat Sep 28, 2019
2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
120 mins

Location

Runnymede

Presented as part of Culture Days @ The Library, Kat will lead a collaborative textile project that focuses on the creative use of recycled materials. The installation will encourage participants to discuss concepts of resiliency and adaptability within their own community while reflecting on their individuality and how it relates to their own personal networks.

The artist will invite visitors to create trees, flowers and other plants using wire, yarn, fabric and found objects. The objects are intended to be created as representations of the visitors themselves. As the plants are added to the installation, visitors will be able to see a dialogue emerging between their plants and the rest of the garden community.

Free program.
