A new and wonderfully different workshop/presentation that unfolds like a Netflix documentary but is presented live. It?s part performance and part interactive seminar offering an opportunity to reboot your thinking about a future that is unfolding right before your eyes. Keith McDonald uses storytelling, video segments, song performance segues plus lots of audience discussion to explore Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, the Open Data movement, Privacy and Social Media. All These areas are covered with frankness and refreshing levity with the A.I. race - between the east and west - standing out as a recurring theme.

Keith McDonald is the founder of the Open News Network where he educates and advocates for A.I. education, open source, open government and open data. His career reflects a penchant for encouraging literacy & critical thinking while preparing and inspiring others to adapt to change. He has worked with TVOntario, the Ministry of Education, Centennial College and the Toronto Public Library among others. Keith is also well known for having served a long and fruitful tour of duty with the City of Toronto ? ultimately ending up as the first Open Data Lead for the city.
