Join award-winning cartoonist Kean Soo as he shares his process of writing stories, creating characters, and drawing for comics and graphic novels!

Kean will be teaching basic writing and drawing techniques to create your own stories and comics in this 2-week workshop. Week 1 will cover creating your own characters, and how to generate story ideas with them, and week 2 will show you how to bring your characters and story ideas together to make your own comic!

Kean Soo is the author and illustrator of the award-winning graphic novel series Jellaby and March Grand Prix, and was also an assistant editor and contributor to the FLIGHT comic anthologies. He currently lives and works in Toronto.

Registration is required. Please register for this 2-part program on Crowdcast.

This live program is suitable for children 6-12 years old. It is recommended that parents or caregivers are present during this live program.
