Note: This is a three part class. Participants who register have to attend all three sessions on:
July 16th,
July 23rd, and
July 30th from 1-3 p.m.

This beginner level class is a great introduction to all things digital photography. Understand the basic functions of your camera so you can begin to shoot in manual mode, capture higher-quality images and experiment with settings you might not have had a chance to play with thus far.

Day One, participants will start out in the classroom and photograph still life all while learning about the following:
Lighting
Composition
Shutter
Aperture
and more.

Day Two, participants will go around and take photos in and out of the library building and get a chance to bring into practice what they just learnt.

Lastly, we will finish off the lesson in our 3rd day of the program with downloading the images you took from the camera and getting them into the computer. Then we will explore how we can edit them in Adobe Lightroom.

Note: Customers will be provided a Digital SLR camera and SD card. Customers should bring in a USB stick to save their files upon completion of the third class.
