Tense rescue: Hilda McConnell, 63, of Campbellford, Ont., dangled by one foot from car of a ferris wheel 5 metres (16 feet) above ground for 10 minutes yesterday at Santa's Village amusement park in Bracebridge. On left, three men link arms to form human net for her. Dennis Nielsen, 36, a hydro worker from New Liskeard, scaled ride to brace her arms as she hung on.
