The workshop will help participants understand dementia. It will explain the difference between normal memory loss and dementia. Learn what dementia looks like in an older adult. The workshop will also explain ways to reduce the risk of developing dementia and how to manage the illness.

Hope + Me, The Mood Disorders Association of Ontario presents the mental health series, "Understanding Mental Health and Wellbeing in Later Life: A Pilot Workshop Series". This session is presented by Andrew Kcomt, Knowledge Translation & Research Manager.
The curriculum was developed by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health(CAMH), Provincial System Support Program (PSSP). The workshop series provide older adults with evidence-based information and resources on mental health and addictions.
