Culture and Technology Book Club, A walk around the block

Wed Aug 11, 2021
7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
90 mins

The Culture and Technology Book club brings readers together once a month to discuss new and classic books that raise important questions about the way technology transforms our cultural and political lives. The group will read on relevant topics related to social media, innovation, surveillance and digital identity.

On Wednesday August 11th we will discuss Spike Carlsen's book A walk around the block : stoplight secrets, mischievous squirrels, manhole mysteries & other stuff you see every day (and know nothing about).

We will be using Jitsi Meet, an online meeting platform for our book discussion. Registration is limited and specific instructions on how to access Jitsi Meet will be sent to the registrants one day before the book club meeting.

For more information about Jitsi Meet, check out the Getting Started with Jitsi Meet guide.

Review Jitsi's Privacy Policy.
