Live Coding: ORCA and PILOT for Electronic Music

ORCA and PILOT are Open Source programming software for music production. In this introductory workshop participants will learn about the ORCA Programming Language, how to use ORCA to sequence music, and PILOT a polyphonic Open Source synthesizer. Participants will learn how ORCA objects interact, create generative audio experiments, and learn how ORCA and PILOT can create music together.

Prior to the class, participants will need to download and install ORCA and PILOT onto their personal computers. This workshop will take place online using a web-based video conferencing application.
