You're invited to the Young Voices Writing and Art Fest 2019. Learn new skills or improve your craft. Whether you're a teen poet or painter, into drawing, an aspiring novelist or just picked up your pencil, we have something for everyone.

For ages 12-19.

Come to the Young Voices Writing and Art Fest for free hands-on workshops with professional artists and writers on spoken word, painting and printmaking.

Spoken Word with Nasim Asgari
Learn how to share your voice and your story through the power of spoken word.

Painted Gossip with Sarah Febbraro
Become part of Sarah Febbraro's ongoing painting project, Painted Gossip. Febbraro paints & writes about her latest celebrity obsessions and posts the work online. She now invites you to participate in this project; generating more paintings and gossip about our cultural moments.

Printmaking with Amanda Foulds
Create a collograph stamp from scratch using everyday materials like cardboard, pencils and foam. Then, using acrylic paint, print your stamp on paper to create unique framed prints or personalized wrapping paper.

The Young Voices Magazine and programs are supported through the generosity of the Daniels brothers in honour of their mother, Norine Rose, and the Friends of Toronto Public Library, South Chapter.
