The Osborne Collection of Early Children's Books' 32nd Helen E. Stubbs Lecture is presented by acclaimed author Gregory Maguire, best known for the novel Wicked, also Horn Book Honor winner for Egg & Spoon. In The World at Hand, The World Next Door, Gregory Maguire speaks about the power of literary fantasy in his childhood reading and in his work as a novelist for children and for adults.

Please note, there is rush seating only. Tickets are sold out, and as most of our events are free, it is our policy to overbook. In case of a full program, your reservation may not guarantee admission or a seat. Unclaimed reservations will be released to standby customers ten minutes before the start of the program. We recommend that you arrive early.

Doors open at 6 pm and the event will begin at 7 pm. Please note that seating is limited and we recommend that you arrive early.
