In this presentation, Teri Courchene focuses on teaching young potential investors the importance of spending less than they earn and how to start investing using their Tax-Free Savings Account.

Teri covers risk versus return of different types of investments and how to decide which investments are suitable. Different avenues of investing are explored, with a focus on the lowest-cost way to invest a very small portfolio.

Presented by Teri Courchene, a former economist and director of research at one of Canada's big banks. With an academic background in economics and education, Teri currently teaches financial literacy at the University of Toronto, School of Continuing Studies.
