Shelley Wood is a writer, journalist, and editor. She appears to discuss her debut novel, The Quintland Sisters, which tells the story of the Dionne Quintuplets. Hear Wood talk about the fascinating story of the world's first identical quintuplets to survive birth, told from the perspective of a midwife in training who helps bring them into the world. Wood's fictionalization of this historical event is well-researched and full of heart.

In conversation with Martha Baillie, Canadian poet and novelist.
