Join us for an introduction to the 2nd century A.D. Roman poet Juvenal, followed by a reading of parts of all 16 of his satires.

Presented by Dr. Christopher Kelk. Dr. Kelk is a renowned Shakespearean actor and holds a Ph.D in Classics. In 2010 he published a translation of Juvenal?s 16 satires titled The satires of Juvenal: a verse translation.
