The Ripple Foundation's creative writing program is designed to motivate young authors. The program focuses on improving the writing skills of children in grades 4-8. Through fun and interactive activities, participants are encouraged to find their voice and gain confidence in their choices and skills as a writer. All workshops will be held on Saturdays from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.

November 9: Brainstorm Bonanza
The purpose of this workshop is to teach participants how to brainstorm story ideas effectively.

November 16: Mixed Bag Mayhem
The purpose of this workshop is to teach participants about the importance of characters and character development in storylines.

November 23: Plotline Play-By-Play
The purpose of this workshop is to teach participants about the role of plot structure in stories.

November 30: Details! Details!
The purpose of this workshop is to show participants how descriptive details enhance stories and engage readers through elements that stimulate the senses and add interest.

Aimed at children in Grades 4-8.
