"I Gave Up", says Mrs. Francis Berghofer, owner of this home and last holdout in her area on Sherbourne St. against selling her house to be levelled for the proposed new St. James Town West high-rise apartments. "It was no use arguing any longer" after all her neighbors had sold, she explains. So, she will move out at end of month. "Next place I move to will be the cemetery," she adds with a smile.
