End of the line. The last Pontiac 6000 made by General Motors of Canada at its Oshawa plant is driven off the line yesterday by TomYoung; 61; who will retire in August. A total of 1;541;882 Pontiac and other so-called A-cars have been made in Oshawa since 1982. Almost 5;900 workers will be laid off for five months before production of a new Chevrolet sedan begins. The new family of cars is code-named W or GM-10 cars.
