The church was built in 1833. It closed in 1944 and was torn down in 1948.

York Mills Baptist Church Celebrates 100th Anniversary. Former pastors and members of York Mills Baptist church gathered yesterday in a happy reunion to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the church. (1) James Bathgate, Willowdale, clerk of the church since 1896; (2) York Mills Baptist church; (3) Rev. H. B. Comans, the present pastor; (4) the tombstone of Barnabas Bond, the oldest in the churchyard, dated 1839; (5) Miss Sarah Bond, aged 86 years, life-long member of the congregation, and (6) the 100-year-old pewter communion chalice.
