Surprise snow storm yesterday has evening rush-hour traffic in a snarl at Highway 10 and Steeles Ave. in Brampton; with some drivers helping push cars up the ice-glazed hill. Throughout the Metro area; there were three times the usual number of accidents but injuries were few and slight because the slippery streets made drivers move slowly. Hospitals reported a few injuries from falls. Most streets have been salted and major routes got a second spreading. Open in full size
