Caption:

"Up in the Valley: Ontario doesn't possess too many challenges for the mountain climber but Derek Ford, 30, an assistant professor of geography at McMaster University, Hamilton, seems to have found one. He is perched atop Kimberley Rock which towers 140 feet above the ski hills of the Beaver Valley. Mr. Ford, an experienced mountain climber, tried the cliff 'just for fun' when he led a recent student geographical team which was doing research in the area."
