FAMOUS SON--Most famous citizen of Kingston, Ont., was Sir John A. Macdonald, first Canadian Prime Minister. His statue has a place of honor at the entrance to City Park. Sir John grew up and was educated in Kingston and practised law in the city before entering politics. He represented the riding of Kingston in the House.
