Drawn to make the line photomechanical print in Evening Telegram, Toronto, 1 September 1909, p. 18, and in Landmarks of Toronto v.6, p. 548. Alexander Muir Public School is on Gladstone Ave., w. side, n. of Waterloo Ave. See also TORONTO/SCHOOLS/GLADSTONE AVE. PUBLIC SCHOOL.
Inscribed in pen and black ink, l.r.: B. GlOSTER.; In pencil, u.l.: 16; Letterpress on paper label laid down below drawing: MUIR'S LAST SCHOOL HOME. / Gladstone avenue school, of which Mr. Muir was principal from 1888 / until the date of his death in 1906. It is now "The Alexander Muir" school.
