Inscribed in letterpress, mat b., with information as that in JRR Catalogue, some additional notes from 'Naval & Military Trophies... a Series of Water Colour Drawings by William Gibb the Descriptive Notes by Richard R. Holmes...', London, John C. Nimmo, 1896, and the note "The above is a copy of the original water colour drawing of these colours taken at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, by Mr. W. Gibb, from which the plate of them in 'Naval and Military Trophies' was executed... the original water colour is in Beverley House, Richmond street... Acc.
