The English Pilot, the fourth book. London : Printed for William Mount and Thomas Page, An interesting sea chart showing the Southern Coast of Newfoundland. Inset map “A draught of the harbour of Trepassey in Newfoundland” . Compass Roses, rhumb lines and soundings are shown. Placentia became an important British naval station after the fall of Quebec in the 1760’s .
