Jad Abumrad is the host and creator of Radiolab, a public radio program on nearly 600 stations across the US and downloaded more than 12 million times a month as a podcast.
Abumrad has been credited with creating a "new aesthetic" in broadcast journalism, bringing together his backgrounds as both a composer and a journalist.

Orchestrating dialogue, music, and interviews to create documentaries that have made public radio sexy again. Winner of three George Foster Peabody Awards, and honoured as a MacArthur fellow in 2011, Jad Abumrad will appear in conversation with Elamin Abdelmahmoud, Canadian journalist and host of CBC's Pop Chat and Party Lines.
