In honour of Black History Month join us for Afro-Jamaican Music and Oral Artistry with Maurice Gordon. The program is a mix of music, talk and visuals about the rich African retentions found in Jamaica's history, culture, religion and language. Maurice Gordon is a Jamaican/Canadian guitarist, composer, teacher and Afro-Jamaican oral artist who will discuss icons such as Miss Lou, Harry Belafonte, Bob Marley and Marcus Garvey in this engaging and interactive presentation
