BiblioBoard is a digital library of self-published content uploaded from the Indie Author Project and offers unlimited access to eBooks and other multimedia content.
What you need
- A computer with an internet connection (List of supported browsers)
- An account at BiblioBoard (must be created before using the BiblioBoard app)
- The BiblioBoard app for iOS or Android (for use on your phone or tablet)
Create a BiblioBoard Account
A BiblioBoard account with an email address, username and password is required only if you want to save personalized settings such as favourites and bookmarks. An account is also required to use the BiblioBoard app on a phone or tablet.
To create an account:
- Go to TPL's BiblioBoard page.
- Select Menu in the top left corner.
- Click on Don't have a profile? Create one now.
- Enter your email address, choose a username (can be your email address) and password.
- Select Create Profile. You do not need to select a library. Toronto Public Library will automatically be added to your list.
- You will receive an email with a link to confirm your account.

BiblioBoard open access is the default and does not require an account to browse limited content. Creating an account allows you full access to the collection in addition to personalized features such as:
- favourites
- bookmarks and notes
- recently browsed titles (up to 20)
- offline Bookshelf (in the app only)
These features can be found under My Board in the Menu once you are signed in.
- Can I download and print items?
Yes. On BiblioBoard, items that are in the public domain or have been made downloadable by the licence holder will have a download icon on the left side of the viewer that indicates it can be downloaded and printed.

To cite a source from BiblioBoard, visit the bottom of the eBook's details page where you will find APA, Chicago Style, and MLA citations generated for every eBook on the platform.
