Move That Mouse

Learn basic mouse and keyboarding skills in this hands-on class. A useful introduction to skills required for all Internet courses.

 
Web Basics

Explore the Internet. If you have little or no Internet experience, this hands-on training will help you search the World Wide Web. Basic keyboarding and mouse skills are required.


 
Web Basics II

Improve your Internet skills in this hands-on class using subject directories and search engines. Web Basics is the recommended prerequisite for this session. Basic keyboarding and mouse skills are required.

 
Web Basics III

Learn more about the Library's subject directory, the Virtual Reference Library, including its portals and advanced search capablilities. Also covered, ways to improve seaching techniques using search engines. Web Basics II is the recommended prerequisite for this session. Basic keyboarding and mouse skills are required.

 
Web Basics for Seniors

Learn to explore the Internet and search the World Wide Web if you're an older adult with little or no Internet experience. Basic keyboarding and mouse skills are required in this hands-on class.

 
Word Basics

Learn to create, edit and save writing documents using Microsoft Word XP. Basic keyboarding and mouse skills are required.

 
Word Basics I: Create and Save a File

Learn to open Word, create and save a file. An introduction to Microsoft Word XP 2002 in two sessions. Basic keyboarding and mouse skills are required.
