Shakespeare for Kids

Free Six Week Program for Kids 7 to 12

Over six Saturdays, actors and teachers from the Shakespeare in Action Theatre Company lead kids through reading exercises and drama games that explore the world of magic, wizards, and ghosts in some of the greatest stories ever told.

Children will read three Shakespeare plays, abridged by Artistic Director Michael Kelly, including The Comedy of Errors, Julius Caesar, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Tempest.

Kids also learn and play theatre games, develop play-reading skills, create and act in scenes and more.
