Brentwood Branch Scheduled for Renovation & Expansion Monday, June 9, 2008 Members of the public are invited to help shape the upcoming renovation and expansion of Brentwood Branch by sharing their opinions at an open house on Thursday, June 12, 2008 between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.
Toronto Public Library staff and architects from Diamond + Schmitt Architects Inc will be on hand to present preliminary ideas for the renovation and expansion and to listen to comments from the public. Members of the public who are unable to attend the meeting can fill out a comment form, available at the branch or online. Scheduled to commence in 2009, the renovation and expansion will feature:
The upcoming renovation and expansion of the Brentwood Branch is part of Toronto Public Library's ongoing building revitalization plan. In 2008, Torontonians will benefit from the reopening of six branches: Jane/Dundas (opened Feb 4), Cliffcrest (opened April 3), S. Walter Stewart (opened May 29), Dufferin/St.Clair (opening after a major renovation in September), and in the Fall of 2008, Jane/Sheppard and Kennedy/Eglinton.
