Bloor/Gladstone Branch Renovation & Expansion Community Consultation: Toronto Public Library Welcomes All to Attend

Members of the public are invited to help shape the upcoming renovation and expansion of Bloor/Gladstone Branch of Toronto Public Library by sharing their opinions at a Community Consultation meeting on Tuesday May 31, 2005 at 7 p.m.

Toronto Public Library staff, local councillor Adam Giambrone and project architects rdh + szarch will be on hand to discuss project details and listen to the public. Members of the public, who are unable to attend the Community Consultation, but want to make their opinions known, may fill out a Comment Card, available at the Branch or

About the Bloor/Gladstone Branch Renovation:

The Bloor/Gladstone Branch renovation is one of several capital projects planned for library branches across the City of Toronto. The renovation and expansion will:

  • Increase the size of the branch, improve accessibility, and repair and refurbish the existing building
  • Provide space for expanded collections
  • Increase meeting room space
  • Create unique spaces for children, teens and newcomers to Canada
  • Add additional quiet study space and a new User Education Centre
