Pape/Danforth Branch to Close for Renovation

On Saturday, April 16 at 5 pm, the Pape/Danforth Branch (701 Pape Avenue), will close for up to one year for renovation.

The renovated Pape/Danforth Branch will feature completely redesigned, more accessible space, quiet study space and reading areas, a program and community use room and increased hours in the Children’s Department.

Alternate service during closure:

  • During the closure, library customers can return materials to any Toronto Public Library Branch and pick up holds at the Danforth Coxwell Branch, 1675 Danforth Avenue, 416-393-7783.
  • During the regular Sunday opening period (September-June), the nearby Riverdale Branch, 370 Broadview Avenue, 416-393-7720, will open 1:30 p.m. – 5 p.m., beginning Sunday April 17, 2005.

  • Library customers are invited to make a donation towards new books for Pape/Danforth Branch. Call Toronto Public Library Foundation at 416-393-7132 today or fill out a form available in any of the surrounding branches.
