Multicultural Services and Programs If you are a newcomer to Canada, the library can help you get settled in your new community. Settlement workers are available in selected library branches to give one-on-one service on topics like education, jobs, health, housing, language instruction and more. In addition settlement workers offer workshops on relevant issues affecting newcomers such as Canadian workplace culture, the job market, the Canadian tax system, parenting and government benefits.
