New library to serve southeast quadrant of the City of York recommended in a Branch Feasibility study by the Randolph Group

1994
Funding approved by Canada/Ontario Infrastructure Works Program. Property acquired at corner of Oakwood and Holland Park avenues.

1997
Opened 27 September. A.J. Diamond, Donald Schmitt & Company Architects.

2007
New hours, 8 January. Hours open per week decreased from 51.5 to 50.5.
